Creating Comics
Many classes are integrating the comic genre and technology into their curriculum using the Big6 research process. The students begin by conducting research on their given topic. They then summarize their learning by scripting a storyline for their comic using succinct statements for each panel of their comic. They also have to create a storyboard to plan the pictorial aspect of their comic. Once they have their plan in place, they are ready to draw their pictures. The students then scan their pictures and import them into ComicLife. Their creativity comes alive as they tweak and perfect their comic!
